About

Gratitude

[ˈɡradəˌt(y)o͞od]

NOUN

the quality of being thankful; readiness to show appreciation for and to return kindness

When looking for a Gratitude project idea in the Spring of 2021, I came across the unbelievable statistics in the US and was even more shocked by the lack of access in our own community.

That day, I decided that I would change my focus to those who attend school with my children and are our neighbors in Eastern NC.

Katey's Kits was created to help young women have access to the supplies they need monthly and gain the confidence and the ability to participate in school and extracurricular activities without worry of where their pads will come from.
